• Hi there! I'm Maddie Leigh and I am one of the 4th grade math and Texas history teachers here at Village Elementary! I am very passionate about helping shape the whole student. I believe that my students should be given every chance to excel in and out of the classroom. I want to create lifelong learners.

    A little bit about me... This will be my fourth year at Village Elementary and in fourth grade. I have fallen in love with this age group and I am so excited to start another year with them. I graduated from Tarleton State in 2020! (Go Texans!) While I was there I was apart of Phi Mu Sorority, SGA, and The Texan Stars dance team! I am engaged to my best friend, Walker! We have been together for almost 5 years and will be getting married December 2nd of this year! In my free time I enjoy powerlifting, crafts, reading, anything outside, and spending time with friends and family!
