Welcome to Summer Programs at GISD
-
GISD Summer Learning is an opportunity for students to engage in learning experiences that address their personalized needs. GISD acknowledges the challenges that our students and families have faced during the pandemic and we are committed to offering additional learning support through our summer programs.
We are proud to offer several options for summer learning and summer programs for GISD students:
Summer Learning for High School Students
The focus of summer learning will be to develop a strong foundation for the 22-23 school year or, in the case of seniors, an opportunity to finish credits needed for graduation.
Summer Learning: Jumpstart for grades 3-8 (invitation by principal only)
GISD is excited to bring back JumpStart! This program provides engaging, hands-on, and personalized learning for students currently in grades 3-8. The goal of JumpStart is to support student summer learning in preparation for a successful 2022-23 school year! Participation in GISD Summer Learning is by principal invitation only.
