My Education & Teaching Background

My name is Jennifer Carnes and I am so excited to be your child’s Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year. This will be my 5th year teaching but my first year teaching here at Carver Elementary.  I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology,  my Masters in Social Work and obtained my EC-6 teaching certification through ACT in Central Texas.  I am married and have a daughter of my own as well as two step children ages 5, 10, and 11. 

I am so excited to get this school year started!
