Georgetown ISD

Chailleen has been a counselor at GHS for four years. Before becoming a professional school counselor, she spent 20 years in the classroom as a family and consumer sciences teacher. Chailleen earned her Bachelor’s degree at Tarleton State University in 1996 and her Master’s in Education from Lamar University in 2016, and she just completed her 22nd year at GHS! Chailleen also recently celebrated her 21st anniversary with her husband, Greg. They have two sons, Chase and Rylan. She loves traveling, “glamping”, watching baseball, and spending time with friends and family. Chailleen is enjoying her new career, and is happy to continue serving the families of GHS as a supportive resource for their academic, social, and emotional needs.
