• Coach Berry Johnson is in his 1st year at GHS. Aside from coaching baseball, he teaches 9th-12th Special Education Resource History and coached in the football program this past fall. Before becoming a Georgetown Eagle, Berry coached at Manor HS for the past 6 years and ran the technology department for the MISD Athletic Program for the past 3 years. Prior to his time at Manor High School, he was a middle school teacher for 8 years. In total, he has 15 years teaching and coaching experience.

    He has earned a MEd in Sports Administration from Concordia University and attended Texas Tech University for his BA in Political Science. He played high school baseball for Arlington Heights in Fort Worth, and for Coronado High School  in Lubbock.

    When he is not coaching, he enjoys spending quality time with his 4 children and 2 granddaughters; William, Haley, Ty, Addie, Savannah, and Ella.
