At SFA’s week-long Summer Pre-Med Camp, you’ll have opportunities to meet and interact with medical professionals and get a firsthand look what it’s like to work in hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend academic review sessions, meet with medical students and talk to medical school administrators.
The best part? Admission to Summer Pre-Med Camp is free. All students who attend are provided with free housing, meals, books and supplies.
Who can apply?
Any Texas student who is currently a high school junior can apply for Summer Pre-Med Camp.
Because the Summer Pre-Med Camp is co-sponsored by SFA and the Joint Admissions Medical Program, preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need and would be excellent future candidates for JAMP during their college years.
