Coach Kari Wright

    Head Coach

    Coach Wright started playing baseball at the age of six before softball was offered in her area. She played high school softball at William H. Taft in San Antonio, TX where she helped lead her team to multiple district championships, four straight playoff appearances, and was a UIL state softball runner-up for two seasons. After high school, Wright continued her playing career at St. Edward's University in Austin, TX, where she played 4 years and as a two-time All-American catcher she helped lead the Hilltoppers to an NCAA Division II Softball World Series appearance. Coach Wright graduated from St. Edward's in 2002 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in English. Wright began her teaching and coaching career in 2009 at Medina ISD, from there moved to Mcneil High school from 2014-2018, after a short stint at San Antonio Brennan from 2018-2020 she accepted the head coaching position at East View High School in Georgetown in 2020. Coach Wright is in her 3rd year at East View, qualifying for the playoffs both years and an overall record of 41-22.
