My name is Melissa Hendrix and I teach Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies.  My teaching career began in Houston in 2006.  We moved to Georgetown in 2014 and I began working at Ford in 2016. I took some time off during Covid, but I’m happy to be back at Ford this year!  My husband and I have been married for 30 years and have 4 grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.  We enjoy spending time with family, traveling, hiking, and working on our 5 acres with our dog Teddy!  I’m looking forward to a great year at Ford!
