Hello to Pre-K ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education)!

My Name is Ms. Kovach and I am so proud to be part of the Village Community! I have come back FULL CIRCLE after being born and raised in Georgetown, playing basketball for GHS and then shipping up to Boston to play for Boston University. Since graduation from BU, I received my Master's in Moderate Disabilities K-12. I have taught in Special Education for 14 years at a psychiatric hospital, McLean Hospital. This year will be my first year teaching in GISD and I could not be more thrilled! 

A little bit about me; as said before, I have been in Boston since graduating high school, but don't worry, my Texas roots have NEVER left! I love being back cheering with my Cowboys, UT, Austin FC, and Spurs fans alike. So yes, I love watching sports and being active! On the weekends, you may see me running around Georgetown or cheering on my Lady Eagle basketball girls. However, I am a huge movie buff, so there is a strong chance there will be a "Ms. Kovach" sighting at City Lights!
