• My name is Elissa Steer. I was born and raised in Austin, TX, and have worked with elementary school students since high school. I began as a teacher’s aide for a kindergarten classroom, then later moved on as a tutor for bilingual students for three years, which is what inspired me to become a teacher. I attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in May 2018. This school year will be my 6th year as a teacher. I'm excited to be a teacher at Village!

     

    Outside of my interest in teaching, I love traveling, spending time with my family and pets, and making crafts.
