    Coach Doug Bond

    Coach Doug Bond is entering his 9th year in Georgetown ISD, 11th year in education and 15th year in coaching. This is his first year at East View High School where Coach Bond serves in the SPED Department with the behavioral communication support staff. He is an assistant football coach with the defensive line and an assistant boys basketball coach. Coach Bond has also taken on the role as East View's Fellowship of Christian Athletes Campus Coordinator.

    Coach Bond has an undergraduate degree in sociology from Northeastern State University and a masters degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University. Previous to teaching and coaching at East View High School, Coach Bond spent time at Chaparral High School and Georgetown High School where he served as an offensive-line coach, assistant girls and boys wrestling coach, head powerlifting coach, strength and conditioning coordinator and Peer Assisted Leadership campus coordinator.
     
    Coach Bond and his wife, Jessica, have three children: Londyn (14), Jordyn (5), and Kason Bond (3). His family attends Church on the Rock in Georgetown where he enjoys serving within the usher department. 
     
    Coach Bond and his family are excited to be home in Georgetown as members of the East View Patriot family and look forward to a successful future!
