I am looking forward to a wonderful year with my 1st graders!  This is my 19th year in GISD and 21st year in Education. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at UT Austin.  In addition, I have ESL, GT, and Texas Reading Academy certificates.  I opened Mitchell Elementary in 2008 and enjoy teaching here. 

I grew up in Texas and my family enjoys spending time together.  We are proud of my son serving in the military!  Our favorite family vacations include beach trips and Caribbean cruises.
