I am humbled to serve the outstanding community at Village Elementary! This will be my thirteenth year in Georgetown ISD, and I am excited about the work we are doing. My teaching experience includes elementary: bilingual, art, music and reading intervention; middle school: Spanish, theatre, ESL, and cheerleading; and high school: AP Spanish and theatre.  I was Assistant Principal at East View High School prior to my opportunity to start serving at Village in 2019.   My husband, Jesse, and I have two boys, Asher who attends Benold Middle School, and Gideon who is in our Dual Language program at Village. We also have a goldendoodle, Churchill, who thinks he’s human.  We love spending time together, whether serving our church, traveling, at a GISD sporting event, or just enjoying our huge extended family.

My passion is to raise leaders, whether children or adults.  I thank you sincerely for entrusting your children to us each day as you drop them off at school, and I want to assure you that they are dearly loved here!

¡Me siento honrada de servir a la destacada comunidad de Village Elementary! Este será mi decimotercer año en Georgetown ISD y estoy entusiasmada con el trabajo que estamos haciendo. Mi experiencia docente incluye escuela primaria: maestra bilingüe, arte, música e intervención; escuela intermedia: español, teatro, ESL y porristas; y preparatoria: AP español y teatro. Fui subdirectora en East View High School antes de tener la oportunidad de comenzar a servir en Village en 2019. Mi esposo, Jesse, y yo tenemos dos hijos, Asher, que asiste a la escuela secundaria Benold, y Gideon, que está en nuestro programa de lenguaje dual en Village. También tenemos un perro goldendoodle, Churchill, que cree que es humano. Nos encanta pasar tiempo juntos, ya sea sirviendo a nuestra iglesia, viajando, en un evento deportivo de GISD o simplemente disfrutando de nuestra gran familia extendida.

Mi pasión es criar líderes, ya sean niños o adultos. Les agradezco sinceramente por confiarnos a sus hijos cada día cuando los dejan en la escuela, ¡y quiero asegurarles que aquí los amamos mucho!

Assistant Principal: Jarred Dorhauer

This is my fourth year at Village Elementary and my twelfth year here in GISD. Over my 15 years in education, I’ve had the opportunity to teach all levels of middle school math, Texas history, world history, and boys’ athletics. I left middle school after 11 years and found my niche right here at The Village.  From the tiniest of kiddos to our big-time 5th graders, I can’t help but have a smile on my face when I walk through these doors. My wife, Ronda, and I have two amazing kiddos. Our daughter, Khloe, is beginning her seventh-grade year at Benold (GO EAGLES), and our son, Sawyer, is in 5th grade right here at Village.  As a family, we are consumed with our kids’ extracurricular activities; when we get a break, you can find us at a nearby park in our travel trailer. 

My goal is to give each and every one of your children a safe place to learn. I want them to come inside each morning knowing that there are safe adults that truly care about them and the journey they are on. Nothing beats starting off the day on the Village front porch with a round of fist-bumps and high-fives! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and this community; it’s truly an honor.
