Welcome to EVHS Volleyball

Meet our Coaches



    Coach Huck was born in Georgetown, Texas and is a graduate of East View High school class of 2018. She began her coaching career at 15, coaching summer leagues, YMCA teams, and then eventually club and collegiate volleyball. She attended Angelo State University from 2018-2022 and worked as a Student Assistant Coach for the Angelo State Volleyball team, who won the 2019 Conference Championship and were named the 2021 Division II National Champions. Coach Huck graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Mathematics and minors in Education and Kinesiology. Upon graduation, Coach Huck began teaching and coaching in San Antonio, Texas at Pieper High School and Force Volleyball Club. She is excited to be back in her home town, at her home high school, and is ready to bring a higher level of competition, skill, and confidence to the East View High School Volleyball Program.  







    Coach Frey grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and is an alum of Alamo Heights High School. She started swimming competitively at age 5. She swam competitively throughout middle school and was a 4-year letterman in both swimming and water polo. Following high school, Coach Frey continued her passion for water polo by playing for Texas Tech University where she graduated with a BS in Kinesiology and student taught for one year, earning a highly qualified teaching certificate in Physical Education EC-12. She is also certified to teach health. This is Coach Frey’s 9th year in education/coaching. Before coming to Georgetown, she was the Head PE Coach at CC. Mason Elementary in Leander ISD. In 2019, Coach Frey landed at EVHS as the Head Varsity Swim Coach. In 2022 Coach Frey joined the EVHS Girl's Basketball staff, assisting in coaching the team to playoffs. This year, Coach Frey has transitioned from assistant basketball to assistant soccer and volleyball. 

    Coach Frey is honored to call EVHS her home & family and is excited for this new experience and chapter in her first year as a girls' volleyball coaching staff member.
