Mr. Brian Johnson - Principal

Prior to entering administration, Mr. Johnson was a middle school math teacher in Humble ISD.  Prior to joining Georgetown ISD, he served as Associate Principal @ Kingwood Park HS, as well as Assistant Principal of Kingwood HS. Mr. Johnson loves to spend time with his family, including his wife Keturah, and children, Charles, AnneMarie, and Audrey. When he is not at school or with his family, he enjoys fishing and bbq-ing.

Mr. Davin Vogler - Associate Principal

Mr. Vogler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University. Prior to entering administration, Mr. Vogler taught at Manor Middle School in Manor ISD, served as an assistant principal for Manor High School, as principal for Manor Manor Middle School, and most recently as principal for Lago Vista Middle School. Mr. Vogler is married to Carrie (also an educator in GISD), and has three children, Micah, Cammie, and Jarrett. He loves hanging out with family and friends (preferably on the lake), serving in his church, and is beyond excited to be an EAGLE!

Mr. Jacob Branstetter - Assistant Principal A-D

Mr. Branstetter is beginning his 9th year as an educator and this will be his 1st as an administrator.  He has served in GISD at Tippit Middle School and East View High School for the past 7 years and served in RRISD for 1 year prior to that.  Before becoming an administrator, he was a Math teacher and coach in GISD.  Mr. Branstetter received his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and then received his Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  Currently, he lives in Round Rock with his wife, Kolby, who is a nurse at Baylor Scott and White, and his two children, son Kyle (10) and daughter Presley (2). When he is not working, Mr. Branstetter loves all things sports, playing golf, working in the yard and spending quality time with his family.

Mrs. Candice Michalek - Assistant Principal E-K

Mrs. Michalek earned her Bachelor of Arts in English at The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Tyler.  This is her tenth year at Georgetown High School, as well as her 24th year in Education.  She has served as a Special Education and English teacher in Pflugerville ISD, Round Rock ISD, and Georgetown ISD. Mrs. Michalek is married with a blended family of four children.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, writing, gardening, and travelling.

Mr. Ricardo Romero - Assistant Principal L-Re

Mr. Romero earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice, as well as a Master of Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University. Before administration, Mr. Romero served in the United States Armed Forces for over 23 years as a U.S. Federal Agent before enjoying teaching Criminal Justice classes with the GHS Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program. Mr. Romero has worked with Killeen ISD and now Georgetown ISD. Mr. Romero is married to his wife, Lupita, of 31 years and has three grown children as well as four grandchildren. His favorite activities include church functions, playing sports, fishing, and boating.

Mrs. Kristi Wittman - Assistant Principal Rh-Z

Mrs. Wittman is beginning her 15th year in education and first year as an administrator. While in the classroom Mrs. Wittman taught biology, chemistry and aquatic science. Mrs. Wittman earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and her graduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She lives in Georgetown with her husband Jerrod and 4 children Cohen, Corbin, Camden and Chloe. Mrs. Wittman loves to spend time with her family hiking, kayaking, visiting state parks or just hanging out. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and serving in her church. She is an avid runner and loves to bake. Mrs. Wittman's favorite place to visit is the beach.
