Richarte Application Process

    Richarte High School Application/Intake

You must be in grades 10-12 to obtain an application and be able to provide one form of ID to verify proof of age and one form of ID to verify GISD residency when submitting the completed application.

Note:  Completion of Application Does Not Guarantee Enrollment.

You may turn in your completed application and essay to either the RHS front office before or after school or to your school counselor who will forward it to us to be processed.  Please make sure that you answer all questions on the application and provide signatures where needed.  The essay should be written legibly with correct spelling and grammar.

Once all documentation has been received and reviewed, an interview will be scheduled by the RHS secretary for an academic planning meeting with the principal (parent must attend) and an individual student meeting with the counselor.

Be prepared to ask any questions you have about the school, curriculum, and scheduling options during your interview.

It is important to be on time for each appointment and bring any required paperwork.  If you are late to your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.

If you have any further questions, please contact us at (512) 943-5120.

If you are accepted we will discuss the steps you will need to take in order to enroll. If you are not accepted we will contact you directly to let you know.
