2025-2026 Superintendent/Board Goals

The Percentage of students on grade level in literacy on MClass will rise from 64% in June 2025 to 80% by June 2028. This will result in a goal of 68% for 2026. 

The Percentage of students on grade level in math on MAP will rise from 59% in June 2025 to 80% by June 2028. This will result in a goal of 66% for 2026. 

The percentage of walkthrough observations demonstrating rigorous, appropriately challenging learning tasks aligned to grade-level standards will increase from the first nine weeks to the last nine weeks, with non-aligned tasks decreasing by at least 15% over the year. 

It is our responsibility to prepare students for the future. 
We are committed to increasing the number of students at each high school who meet the qualifying criteria for College and Career Readiness. In addition to performance on advanced placement and ACT/SAT exams, this also includes the number of students who are prepared to enter the workforce as a result of our Career and Technical Education certifications.

Student Goal #4: 
The percentage of graduates meeting the criteria of being College, Career, and Military readiness will grow from 79% in June 2025 to 90% by June 2026. 

Georgetown ISD will show strong financial stewardship to support staff and student outcomes.

Georgetown ISD will continue to adopt a balanced budget in June 2026. 

Georgetown ISD teacher compensation will be ranked in the top third of districts in the region.
