All applications must be completed and submitted online. Due to the high volume of applications received on a regular basis, Georgetown ISD cannot interview all applicants. Please note, GISD will not accept any application documents that are not submitted through the online application system. In order to be considered for a position, the application cannot be processed without the driver's license/Texas ID, social security number and date of birth information.Note: Employment After RetirementThe number of hours you work for any public school district could affect your annuity status and in some cases jeopardize your annuity. Please contact the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) 800/223-8778 regarding your hourly limits and the impact of your employment on your annuity and benefits. You are solely responsible for keeping track and maintaining your hours. If you believe you may fall into this category, please notify the district.How to Apply Online

Is my information confidential?
Because GISD is a public entity, your application is considered a public document and is subject to disclosure upon request.
What items should I have ready before beginning the application process?
You will need your educational history, work history information, references and reference phone numbers, your driver's license number/Texas ID, and a cover letter and resume in Word format if you would like to submit them with your application (optional/not required for some positions).What if I hold an out-of-state teaching certificate or credential?
Applicants with out-of-state certificates or credentials should go to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) website for information regarding certification based on credentials from outside of Texas and the application procedures. For questions, please contact TEA at 512-463-9734.I have forgotten my username or password.
