January -- Awarded to Georgetown High School seniors Cassady Lee and Aiden Gadison for assisting basketball teammate Olive Connerty following a vehicular accident.
2024
March -- Awarded to Forbes Middle School coaching staff: Liz Boyd, Paul Gammage, Kristy Schreiber; Forbes staff Miguel Munoz and Shelly Dunn; SRO Shannon Hall, nurse Elizabeth Pfuntner, along with Georgetown first responders from Fire Station No. 7: Joshua Bourland, Josh Riding, Andrew Karaffa, Jenna Whiteside, Thor Thompson, Dylan Orr, Jill Torres and Rebel Paulk for a life-saving effort of a student.
2019
September --Awarded to Gordon and Betty Logan, their Sports Clips team and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce for their support of public education, the education foundation, GISD students, and for donations and financial support of the new cosmetology lab.

March -- Awarded to Fitness Games Coaches: Amber Sladecek, Alan Jones, Diane Beauchemin, Devin Lane, Alexandra Sarnoski, Megan
Stevenson, Leslie Ellsworth, Sherry Rhoades, Laurie Bowen, Jack Flatau, Karen Barr, Charis Wren, Nohemi Rose, Sharon Landry, Nick Brummer, Codie Johnson, Dana Drummond, Brian Vickers, Lori Esch, Candace Reid, and Lisha Vogler.
May -- Award to SeaPerch coaches who served the 33 SeaPerch teams across the district. The following coaches exemplify our mission of inspiring and
empowering every learner to lead, grow, and serve.
Recipients include: Carver ES– Rebecca Lauer, Bree Lehmann; Pickett ES– Kristy Marker; East View HS– Kelly Spiller; Cooper ES- Marianne Voeller, Phyllis Gage; Williams– Patricia Harrison; Georgetown– Brad Klein; Frost– Dana Marsh, Leslie Walker; Benold– Terri Henry; Richarte– Perry Siegel; McCoy– Ellen Porter; Forbes– Trent Lermon; Mitchell– Melissa Macaluso; and Tippit– Renee Ramirez.
May -- Awarded to the district PEIMS staff, clerks, registrars, attendance clerks, and digital learning coaches for their hard work and dedication with the Skyward Student conversion. This two-year project impacted every student, parent, teacher, and staff member in GISD.
September -- Awarded to David Biesheuvel and maintenance staff, Roy Martinez and custodial staff, Donnie Bruton and technology staff, Purchasing Director Tonya Blesing and purchasing staff member Cristy Soares for going above and beyond to make sure all schools, included new campuses funded by the 2015 bond, were ready for opening on the first day of school.
November -- Awarded to the Georgetown Education Foundation (GEF) and Chairman Greg Bowden for their work to support innovative ideas in Georgetown ISD schools. The mission of the Georgetown ISD Education Foundation is to engage the community in financial support of a learning environment where innovation, customized academic opportunities, and individual success are attainable for all GISD students.
December -- Awarded to Transportation Director Kirby Campbell and his staff for always going above and beyond the call of duty.
2016
August -- Awarded to Mary Mitchem for exemplary leadership and tenacity. Mary played an instrumental role in leading efforts to change student information management systems districtwide.
April -- Awarded to members of the Raise Your Hand Texas Blended Learning grant team: Kim Garcia, Alma Guzman, Dr. Jeff Burke, Steve
West, Dr. Dave Denny, Rob Dyer, Brian Dawson, Rebecca Nolen, David Hunt, Marcie Lindsey, Michael Sprinkel, Donnie Bruton, Kristin Thompson, Cori Coburn-Shiflett, and Sherri Maruska.
February -- Awarded to members of the Citizens Advisory Committee: John Copelan, Oona Villarreal, Barbara Pearce, Bob Brent, and Kevin Pitts for the leadership during the 2015 bond campaign.
