GISD Bridges 18+
Bridges is GISD's 18+ transition program. The Bridges program is provided as part of FAPE (Free and Appropriate Public Education) for students with disabilities who meet eligibility requirements. The services are geared toward the student's transition from high school to adult life. Instead of focusing on the academic curriculum, which the student has already completed, these services focus on the domains of adult life: employment, lifelong learning, community access, and independent living.
Bridges Brew Cafe at the FRC
The Bridges Brew Cafe is one of many opportunities for our Bridges students to practice and demonstrate a few of the many life skills they're developing here at school.
