Beginning May 13, current 9th-11th grade students will have the opportunity to check out up to six books from the GHS library for summer reading. Parents, if you do not want your student to be responsible for that many books, please e-mail Ms. Cooper, the librarian, at email@example.com, prior to May 13, and let her know how many your student may have. Please also communicate that with your student.
Seniors, please clear your library record, including items from other campuses, before you graduate.
Please see below the pics for general library information.
The library has a Makerspace with robots, a VR headset, an electronics kit and more. Finished with your work or have an off period? Come on in and create.
GISD students who live outside the Georgetown city limits can show their student ID badge at the Georgetown Public Library for a free, GPL library card.
Do you have suggestions for improving our library? E-mail them to Ms. Cooper at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Need to complete some work at school? We have computers and a printer! The first five black and white prints are free, then they're $.10 each. Color copies are $.25 each.
We also have some textbooks for use in the library.

It was about a ten-year journey that led me here, but I persevered and am thrilled to be your librarian. I want your library to be a relaxing, yet interactive, space. I love spending time with my son, books, movies and my animal companions. My favorite genres are fantasy and sci-fi, but I like a good non-fiction book, as well, especially biographies and autobiographies.
