Mrs. Pamela A. Tollison
“I like to help my students to believe in themselves again, to realize they can change, and to help them reach their potential. I believe that helping students prepare for success upon their return to their home campus is also a vital part of my job at the GAP. “
Mrs. Tollison begins her seventh year as the English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR & ESOL)) instructor at GAP for 2018-19. She is also the Campus Testing Coordinator (CTC).
Mrs. Tollison earned a Master of Arts in Education – Educational Leadership from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Ok. Prior to coming to GISD and GAP, Mrs. Tollison taught English AP and English Core at Mayde Creek High School in Katy, TX. She has also worked as: a coordinator for the Texas Engineering Extension Service, an agency of the Texas A&M University System in College Station, a consultant for the Region 18 Education Service Center in Midland, a district administrator and a teacher at Stanton ISD in Stanton and a teacher at Reagan County ISD in Big Lake.
Mrs. Tollison and her husband have been married for 38 years! They have two married children and four adorable grandchildren aged 10, 8, 7 and 3 1/2. They also have Boo, a Black Russian Terrier.
