Amy Heil - Digital Learning Coach

Amy Heil serves Wagner students as our digital learning coach. She began her teaching career in 2002 in Georgetown ISD! She taught 3rd grade at Cooper Elementary for 6 years before moving over to Mitchell Elementary in 2008 to help open up a new campus and library. Amy has a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas. (Go Mean Green!)

Mrs. Heil has a true passion for her career and is so honored to be a part of the Wagner Team. She helped open Wagner in 2017 as the librarian and is excited to now serve the campus as a digital learning coach. She finds watching students become excited and engaged in their learning to be very rewarding and is thrilled to be a part of a team that will foster this.

Amy has a wonderful husband who supports her in everything she does and two beautiful daughters. Her oldest daughter, Madison, is active in Band and FFA at East View High School and her youngest, Allyson, is a Wagner Wolf!! Outside of work you can find her shopping, spending time with her family, reading a good book, or going out to eat. She loves being a part of the Georgetown community!
