Before Georgetown High School:
Previously, he served as Science Teacher for Hendrickson High School, where he taught regular ed science.
There, Jerel Fast was responsible for teaching Earth Science and Physics.
During his tenure, he received a new teacher grant for $1,500 and helped expand the Physics department.
A graduate of Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, Jerel Fast earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He also received a Masters of Science in Educational Psychology from Penn State University and teaching licenses in Secondary Science and Special Education.
Between college, graduate school, and his start in teaching, he has lived in five states - Colorado, Kansas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Texas - but is settling in here in Georgetown and excited to be at GHS!
