My Education & Teaching Background
I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1983. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army where I served for 20 years as an Infantry Officer. In 1996, I received a Master of Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I retired from the military in 2003 and became the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Lansing High School in Kansas where I coached for nine seasons until I moved to Georgetown. In 2007, I received my teaching certification from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas and have taught high school math since then. This my 12th year teaching. I am excited to be teaching at East View High School and am looking forward to a great year.
There is a separate “Google Classroom” for PAP Geometry, PAP Precalculus, and AP Statistics. Each of these classrooms provide essential course information to include homework assignments, class notes, and upcoming test dates.
