Georgetown ISD manages several tools to assist in communicating with students, parents, community members, stakeholders, and more. The GISD newsletter, or eNews, is our most common platform to distribute important, district-wide information such as:

- Emergency Notifications
- Survey Invitations
eNews is delivered weekly to inboxes every Thursday during the school year. Anyone may sign up to receive eNews at any time. By selecting GISD Communications, you will receive our weekly eNews and other important communications from the District office.
If you are a parent: when you subscribe at this link, these communications will be in addition to the communications you might already receive from your child’s school.
*If you think you have already signed up, but you are no longer receiving school or district communications, we have found that users often unsubscribe - sometimes on accident! Fill out our resubscribe form and someone from our department will contact you regarding your status.
If you would like to change your preferences, like which campus communications you receive, you may do so at any time.
GISD eNews is a district platform used to share upcoming information with families and community members regarding academics, athletics, fine arts, event information, and more. However, we also partner with community organizations to include information in our eNews as it pertains to our audience.
You may also access our weekly eNews and other District announcements on our website. eNews is also posted to our home page under District News every Thursday.
