A little bit about me:
Hello. I am the Professional School Counselor at Wolf Ranch Elementary! I am happy and excited to be at Pioneer. I have been a counselor for over 20+ years at both elementary and secondary levels. I love being a mental health professional and I'm blessed to do what I love each day.
I graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas with my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary studies, specializing in Generic Special Education. I then graduated from Texas A&M University with my Master's in Science in Guidance and Counseling. After teaching, I became a school counselor and have been helping families and students obtain success ever since.
In addition to being your school counselor, I am also a proud mother of two children. My son is 17 and my daughter is 22. I have two dogs and two cats. I enjoy outdoors, football, plays, music, reading, and just spending quality time with family and friends. I am constantly learning new and interesting things and encourage everyone to be a lifelong learner. Please feel free to call, email or stop by to visit anytime!
I am blessed and excited to serve the Georgetown community. I am here for students. teachers, parents and families. If you're in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me!
The WRE Counseling office provides many services to support student success. Some examples include: classroom guidance lessons (district initiatives & character education), small groups (with parent permission), individual visits, coordination of benevolence, mentors/PALs, GT testing, and others. As your school counselor, it is my goal to be available to the WR Community, including students, families and staff. Several resources have been provided for your information, which may be accessed by following the included links on this website.
