    BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:

    LaToya Easter served as Principal at Four Points Middle School in Leander for the past year, where she was responsible for managing all aspects of the campus including creating a positive learning environment for staff and students and monitoring and evaluating the advancement of student achievement.  Prior to that, she serviced as an Associate Principal in Round Rock, an Assistant Principal at Rouse High School in Leander and as an English teacher, head basketball coach and Administrator in Alvin ISD.  She enjoys writing, being physically active and traveling - but most of all she enjoys serving students, teachers, and parents and community.

    Associate Principal: Ms. Heidi Kalla

    BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:

    Ms. Kalla is honored to serve as the Associate Principal at EVHS.  Prior to administration, Ms. Kalla served as an AVID Coordinator supporting college readiness, Debate Coach, and English Intervention teacher.  As part of her commitment to education, Ms. Kalla is honored to bring her family's "Proud of You", Mark D. Schroeder Memorial Scholarship in memory and honor of her father to one of our graduating students.

    In her spare time Ms. Kalla enjoys traveling, participating in Austin Running Events, and spending time with her son, Paul.

    Assistant Principal [P-Z]: Ms. Marisa Ramos

    BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:

    Ms. Ramos is proud to be a new Patriot, and enthusiastic to join the East View community as an Assistant Principal.  She began her education journey as a tutor in Austin, and started her teaching career as a Physics teacher at Manor High School.  While at Manor, she started the AP Enviornmental Science program, and served as Science department chair, PLC lead, and Science UIL coach.  Most recently, Ms. Ramos served as an Instructional Coach in Pflugerville for 4 years, where she was instrumental in growing teachers and maximizing student achievement.  She was awarded 2019-2020 Humanitarian of the year at PHS.

    Ms. Ramos enjoys free time with her family and puppy.  You can usually find her hiking around Austin, traveling, and trying new restaurants and cuisines around town.  She looks forward to meeting the East View Family!

    BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:

    Mr. Drummons is excited to be an Assistant Principal and serve the dedicated students, staff, and community that make East View an excellent high school.  He has been fortunate to spend the last several years teaching Social Studies at East View.  Mr. Drummons is thankful to be apart of the East View community.  Go Patriots!

    Between work and family, Mr. Drummons enjoys spending time at this church, reading, running, and keeping up with Auburn athletics.  War Eagle!

    Assistant Principal [A-F]: Mr. Ruishi Wang

    BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:

    Mr. Wang is thrilled to be a Patriot, and excited to join the East View family as an Assistant Principal. He started his teaching career as a Biology teacher at Round Rock HS and Westwood HS, and has spent the last 6 years as Director of Speech & Debate at Westwood HS. During the past 6 years, he has also concurrently served in several leadership positions: UIL 6A District Chair, UIL Academic Coordinator, International Baccalaureate Advisor, and UT Austin Curriculum Coordinator. Prior to joining East View, Mr. Wang served as an Interim Assistant Principal.

    Mr. Wang enjoys traveling all over the world and sampling all of the delicious local cuisine that each country has to offer. He also enjoys being civically engaged with his local community, championing the needs of all students, and focusing on creating a culture of relationship building with all stakeholders.
