Welcome to Summer Programs at GISD

  • GISD Summer Learning is an opportunity for students to engage in learning experiences that address their personalized needs. GISD acknowledges the challenges that our students and families have faced during the pandemic and we are committed to offering additional learning support through our summer programs.

We are proud to offer several options for summer learning and summer programs for GISD students:

Summer Learning for High School Students

The focus of summer learning will be to develop a strong foundation for the 23-24 school year or, in the case of seniors, an opportunity to finish credits needed for graduation.

    StellarXplorers Camp @ EVHS (July 10 - 14) from 9:00 am to  4:00 pm

StellarCamps are a fun space system design camp for 8-12 grade students.
Participants learn about aspects of the space system, and no prior experience is required!
    CyberPatriot  - Advance CyberCamp @EVHS  (July 17 - 21) from 9:00 am to 4:00pm
We support STEM and cybersecurity education by hosting an AFA CyberCamp this summer!
This camp welcomes students of all skill levels, so we encourage anyone interested in cybersecurity to register!
