    UIL Participants 2012-2013

The University Interscholastic League is the governing body for all athletic competitions in the state of Texas, as well as all music contests and academic competitions.  Academic UIL competition is offered in grades 3-8.   The UIL program at McCoy is funded by our local PTA, without them, this wouldn't be possible.
Why UIL?  Interscholastic competition is a great way to encourage scholars to enrich their education and expand their horizons.  Leadership and citizenship experiences through extra-curricular activities help prepare them for a more successful life.  McCoy UIL coaches, parent volunteers and scholars work diligently to prepare for the UIL District Meet.  Last year, McCoy scholars had a strong district presence and brought home many medals.
