All About Pre-K & ECSEat Frost Elementary!
Frost Pre-K and ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) is all about learning and growing together. We teach students from the ages of 3-5, with and without disabilities. We all learn from each other in a caring and supportive environment where differences are valued and built upon. This year we are implementing a Pre-K Curriculum written last year by Pre-K teachers in Georgetown ISD, which is aligned with the Texas Pre-Kindergarten guidelines. We are very excited about this curriculum because it has been designed to meet the needs of the students in Georgetown! We will also utilize the Frog Street Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum and CLI Engage to plan for activities and lessons. Our team works closely to provide the most valuable education for our Frost scholars. We take grades weekly in Language and Communication, Literacy and Reading, Math, and Physical Development for our Pre-K students. We are very proud that Frost Elementary is beginning an amazing journey to become a Leader in Me School! We will practice the 8 Habits of Highly Effective Students and incorporate these into lessons and activities. These habits will help your student become a leader in our school community, at home, and in Georgetown! These habits have a great impact for everyone who practices them, and we can also provide information to parents and family members so you can encourage your students and family to utilize them at home! You can go to The Leader in Me website to learn more about this wonderful program! Please visit our individual teacher pages to find out more information about each teacher, teaching assistants and their classrooms.
