Food Service Account Management & Online Payments
Skyward Family Access allows you to access all of the following features to manage your students' accounts from the Food Service page:
- view your student's balance, deposits, and breakfast and lunch transactions
- add money to your student's lunch account online
- apply for free/reduced meals online
- limit a la carte/snack purchases
- turn on or off your email low balance alerts
- access the lunch menu calendar
Log into Family Access
To access the Skyward Family Access Food Service module, click here for instructions on logging into Family Access. Once you are logged in, click the Food Service button on the left hand side of the screen to access the Food Service options.
Food Service Account Information
On the Food Service screen, you can review all transactions made in your student's account, including deposits made, purchases made. etc. Your student(s) lunch account balances will display in the top under Current Account Balance, and recent payments made will display below that.
On the right side of the screen, you can print a Family Access Meal Statement showing all deposits and purchases. You can also view all purchases made by date.
Making an Online Meal Payment
To make an online meal payment to your student's account, click the Make a Payment link by your child's name in the middle of the screen.
You'll be taken to the Georgetown ISD online payment center, RevTrak. Enter the amount you wish to add to your student's account and click Add Selected to Cart.
After you have clicked Add Selected to Cart, you will be taken to your cart. Click Checkout.
You will see the Georgetown ISD Webstore login page for our RevTrak online payment system. This secure system allows you to create a second login for secure credit card ordering. If you already have a RevTrak/WebStore account, you can use the existing account to log in and continue. You'll be asked to provide credit card details to complete the purchase. A convenience fee for online credit card payment will also be applied. Funds you add to your student's account should be available for purchases within a few hours.
Setting A La Carte/Snack Purchase Limits
If you do not want your student using funds in his/her meal account to charge snacks, or if you want to put a daily limit on the amount of money that can be spent on snack/a la carte purchases, you can do so by clicking on the link on the right middle side of the screen that reads Set Ala Carte Limit. The Daily Ala Carte Limit window will open, and you can choose between a dollar amount limit per day, or choose Do Not Allow Purchase. Then click Save.
Setting or Disabling Food Service Low Balance Alerts
You should receive automatic emails whenever your student's food service account balance falls below $5.00. If you are not receiving the emails and want to get reminder, OR if do not use your student's food service account and/or would like to disable the emails, you can do so under your account settings.
Go to the link labeled My Account at the top of the Family Access screen by your name.
Scroll down to the Email Notifications section under your account settings. Check or uncheck the box to receive notifications in this area to turn notifications on or off depending on your personal preferences.
Access the Lunch Calendar & Menus
You can access the lunch calendar and menus within Skyward by clicking the Lunch Calendar link at the top of the Food Service page.
