Summer Hours for GISD Facilities + the GISD Health & Wellness Center Begin Monday
Georgetown ISD will operate this summer on a modified schedule. Facilities will be closed on Fridays between June 7 and July 26 as well as the week of July 1-5.
We will be open for business on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Our health and wellness center operated by Lone Star Circle of Care will follow similar hours during the summer to continue providing care for our students, staff and their immediate families. You can access the health center on Monday through Thursday from 7 am –4 pm.
To learn more about the health center or make an appointment, visit our website for details at www.georgetownisd.org/healthcenter.
School Supply Donations Needed - Learn How to Give
The Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association is the district's partner in providing backpacks and school supplies to families each August. Any GISD family needing assistance can take advantage of this free event. However, it takes a village to make this happen. There are two ways you can donate:
-
Purchase and drop off new backpacks and/or school supplies at the Carver Center for Families, 1200 W 17th St, Georgetown, any weekday between 9 am and 5 pm. Donations collected will be used to stuff backpacks to be handed out at an event on August 3. To view a list of requested supplies by GISD campuses, visit our school supply lists on our website: https://www.georgetownisd.org/Page/23913
-
Make a financial contribution to Georgetown ISD. Cash donations are used to fund school supply needs throughout the school year and for summer school. Contact the communications and community engagement team to learn more at communityrelations@georgetownisd.org or by calling 512-943-1890.
Fast, Affordable Healthcare for Students, Staff and affiliated Families
The GISD Health and Wellness Center operated by Lone Star Circle of Care will be
relocating to the Future Ready Complex in July. Prior to the relocation, patients can

Families.
