Nancy Bottlinger is the principal at Carver Elementary. Mrs. Bottlinger holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, Spanish, & Bilingual Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master's in Education Administration from Texas State University.
Mrs. Bottlinger was a classroom teacher for 21 years, an assistant principal for 5 years, and is currently the principal of Carver Elementary. Nancy has been in education for 34 years. She has taught in Georgetown, McKinney, Frisco, and Los Angeles, California. She has been an educator in GISD for the past 22 years.
Mrs. Bottlinger loves Georgetown. Her family moved here when she was in the seventh grade. She has three children. Her daughter, Kimberly and husband, Jakris, work on visual effects in movies. They are currently working and living in London, England. Her son, Kyle, works in Austin, Texas as a financial advisor. Her other son, Garrett, works in Los Angeles for Sony. She and her husband, Clark, enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing with their dogs, Riley, Bella, and Max.
