A little about me: I joined Georgetown ISD in 2010 after retiring from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service. My duties and responsibilities were that of a Human Resource Manager, including a two year commitment as the Assistant Inspector General for the BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). But now I get the privilege and opportunity in continuing my service to our community by teaching Language Arts. 

Education: I attended Rollins College, Florida  (Majored in History with a Minor in Education) ESL Certified, GT Certified, and Early Childhood to 6th Grade Certified.  

Hometown Philadelphia, PA 

Served two tours (1990-91 Desert Storm Saudi Arabia, 2009 Baghdad, Iraq)

Humanitarian trips:  

Lynn Haven, FL  2019 (Joined a community of volunteers to help rebuild a home that was completely destroyed by Hurricane Michael)

Rio Grande Valley 2017 (Our team delivered food to the community and helped build a local church)

Trinidad 2015 (Assisted in leading children activities and providing food to underprivileged children)

Puerto Rico 2014 (Provided backpacks and school supplies to a small children's school in the town of Anasco) 

Guatemala 2013 (Provided direct aid to feeding centers in the remote mountains near the Guatemala/Honduran border)

Kenya, Africa 2012 (Assisted in carpentry work for a children's orphange school and deliver school supplies)
