GISD Health & Wellness Center Now Open
The district’s Health & Wellness Center opened on Monday, January 4 for students, staff and their immediate family members. GISD partnered with Lone Star Circle of Care to open the center, which resides in the building that houses Richarte High School and the Georgetown High School Annex at 2295 N. Austin Ave.
The center is staffed by a licensed nurse practitioner who can see patients for preventive health visits or well checks, sick visits, physicals, injuries, lab services including PCR testing for COVID-19, medical screenings, nutritional health education and behavioral health counseling.
All patients must complete consent forms prior to treatment. For more information about the wellness center or to download consent forms, please visit the district website at www.georgetownisd.org/healthcenter. To make an appointment, call 877-800-5722.
January is School Board Appreciation Month
Annually in January, school districts across the state of Texas take time to thank our elected School Board Trustees during School Board Recognition Month. Please join us this month in showing appreciation for Georgetown ISD’s school board members, who volunteer their time, energy and talents to help guide the vision of GISD.
We invite you to share a message of thanks on social media any time this month with the hashtags #SchoolBoardMonth and #GISDBoard.
East View Theater Performance of Anastasia debuts Jan 28
East View Theater program is proud to be the Central Texas premiere performance for Anastasia Jan 28-31 at 7 pm. This live performance will be live-streamed for your safe viewing enjoyment. Tickets and details online: https://evhs.booktix.com/
Vote for the Eagles
We're proud to see Georgetown High School on this list that highlights what really makes Texas football special: the people and community around it. You can show your support for the Eagles by learning more and voting in Dave Campbell's Texas Football Community Connector Award campaign here: http://texasfootball.com/suddenlink. If Georgetown wins, a $2,500 donation will be made to the Georgetown ISD Education Foundation, benefitting all students in GISD. Voting ends January 22!
2020-21 G/T Referral and Assessment Parent Information
