Georgetown ISD is excited to continue its tradition of celebrating Veterans Day this year. All of our schools have made plans to fill this special day with parades, performances and more.

We have provided a list of celebrations that are open to the public. We hope you will join us in honoring our military veterans. 

We also encourage you to join us in celebrating on social media with the hashtags #VeteransDayinGISD and #VeteransDay when sharing content. 

All events will take place on Nov. 11 unless posted otherwise.

 

Carver ES - 5th Grade Program & Reverse Parade for the whole school

Where: Carver cafeteria and parade around the school

When: 8:30-9:30 AM

Cooper ES - 5th Grade Program & Parade for whole school

Where: Cooper ES gym

When: 9-9:30 AM 

Frost ES - Breakfast, All school program (choir singing, veteran recognition) 

Breakfast in the gym: 8:00-8:30 AM
Veteran's Program in the Cafeteria: 8:30-9:00 am

McCoy ES - 1st Grade and Honor Choir Program

Mitchell ES - Drive Through Parade

Purl ES - School Performance
