Communications shared with our families and staff are being added to our website at www.georgetownisd.org/Coronavirus along with resources from the Center for Disease Control and Williamson County City and County Health District. In an effort to stay connected on this rapidly changing situation, we plan to send updates next week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday by 5pm to families and staff. Any changes to school-sponsored events and business operations would be communicated directly to parents and staff.
Home page alerts on the district and campus websites may also be utilized for notifications.

From the Georgetown Complete Count Committee: 2020 Census Coming Soon
Official Census communications are starting to land in mailboxes this week. Look for this information from the U.S. Census Bureau in March and respond to the survey online, by phone, or by mail. The 2020 Census marks the first time you will have the option to respond online. Everyone living in the U.S. is required by law to be counted in the 2020 Census.
You will be asked a few simple questions, like age, gender, and the number of people who live in your home, including children. Your personal information is confidential and cannot be shared with anyone, including any government agencies or law enforcement. The Census will never ask you for your social security number, money or donations, or credit card numbers.
Census data are used to adjust electoral districts and shape how federal money is spent for roads, school lunch programs, health clinics, student loans, housing, and fire departments.
Information related to the Census is being distributed in elementary school take-home folders and is being made available at secondary campuses for pickup.
Learn more at 2020census.gov.
