School Supply Lists now available on our website
GISD is partnering with TeacherLists to provide an online shopping option for campus school supply lists. You can use TeacherLists to purchase supplies directly from retailers such as Amazon, H-E-B, Target, Walmart, Staples, and more.
You can now find school supply lists on our website to download or order directly at www.georgetownisd.org/backtoschool.
Summer Hours for GISD Facilities + the GISD Health & Wellness Center
Georgetown ISD will operate this summer on a modified schedule. Facilities will be closed on Fridays beginning tomorrow, June 9 through July 28, as well as the week of July 3-7.
We will be open for business on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Our health and wellness center operated by Lone Star Circle of Care will follow similar hours during the summer to continue providing care for our students, staff and their immediate families. You can access the health center on Monday through Thursday from 7 am –4 pm.

Elementary Strings Camp June 12-16
Join us for an Elementary Strings Camp this summer to learn basic string techniques, play games and have fun with your friends!

6th Grade Maker Camp - Register by June 30
Calling all incoming 6th graders! Do you enjoy robotics, circuitry, and engineering? Then this Summer Maker Camp is for you! You will have an opportunity to meet other middle schoolers and explore science and technology with a space camp theme! The camp will be held July 10-13 from 9:00 -11:30 am at Tippit Middle School. Camp is open to all incoming GISD 6th graders. Cost for the camp is $125 per person. Spots are limited, so sign up soon! The last day to register is June 30, 2023.

Free meals for students are available twice daily at locations throughout GISD, starting on May 31.

Whether you have a student who is new to Georgetown ISD or already enrolled and returning this fall, we invite you to enroll now.
RETURNING STUDENTS
If you have a student currently enrolled in GISD and want to register them for the upcoming school year, please visit our Returning Student Registration webpage for more information and to update your profile. This helps our campuses with scheduling.
NEW STUDENTS
If you have a student to enroll in GISD who is not currently attending one of our campuses, please start the New Student Enrollment process at www.georgetownisd.org/enrollment.
Please share with your friends and neighbors who are new to town and/or GISD.
Students can now take advantage of physical-only appointments at the GISD Health and Wellness Center in partnership with Lone Star Circle of Care.

Appointments available for physicals without a well-child check

Students can attend the physical-only appointments without parent present (signed waiver required)
These appointments will satisfy requirements for a physical health exam for any student participating in GISD athletics, CTE, and fine arts. Families interested in taking advantage of this opportunity should call the clinic at 512-688-6250 to schedule an appointment.The medical history portion of the physical paperwork (left hand side of the form) must be completed prior and brought to the appointment. Families can access and download the needed GISD physical exam form here.

From Stonewater Roofing: Teachers can now enter #ClearTheList Contest - Entries due July 9
Stonewater Roofing is now accepting applicants for their #ClearTheList contest for the 2023-2024 school year. This contest is for a few lucky teachers and educators to win ALL of the school supplies they will need for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
Once the winners are chosen, employees from Stonewater Roofing will be hand-
delivering overstuffed boxes of school supplies to the teachers on various days before the new school year begins.
TO ENTER: applicants must submit a short video stating why they, or the person they’re nominating, deserves to have their Amazon Classroom Wish List cleared.
Submissions can be sent via the Stonewater Roofing website at
www.stonewaterroofing.com/clearthelist and any further questions about the contest
can be directed to marketing@stonewaterroofing.com. Entries will be accepted until
midnight JULY 9, 2023.
From the City of Georgetown: City Facility Closures June 19
City of Georgetown offices will be closed Monday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. There will be normal solid waste and recycling collection on June 19.
The Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association will celebrate Juneteenth with two events June 16-17. More details are available here.

Save the date for October 14, 2023 and join us for the most fun evening of the year, during the 7th Annual 50 Fellas Foodfest, bringing together local foodies and home chefs to raise money for the Georgetown ISD Education Foundation (GEF). This is the premier fundraiser for GEF and all proceeds support the foundation's mission to engage the community in financial support of a learning environment where innovation, customized academic opportunities, and individual success are attainable for all GISD students.
