2022-23 Federal Report Cards are Now Available for Review Online

The 2022-23 Federal Report Cards (FRC) are now available to view on the district's website at www.georgetownisd.org/Page/26577 . Additional information on these reports will be emailed to GISD families. Printed copies are available by request to gisdassessment@georgetownisd.org.

The Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees approved an order calling for a $649,510,000 bond election to be held on May 4. The bond addresses district growth, aging facilities, technology, fine arts and athletics. The proposed projects will be presented to voters in four separate propositions on the ballot in compliance with state law. 

Join Superintendent Devin Padavil during a community meeting to learn more about the projects: 

  • March 25 at the Hammerlun Center, 6 pm

  • April 3 at Wagner Middle School, 6 pm

  • April 9 at East View High School, 6 pm

  • April 17 at Village Elementary School, 6 pm

Check your attendance zones for 2024-25


The GISD board approved new attendance zones for the 2024-2025 school year. Zoning changes may impact families at all elementary campuses, except McCoy ES, and all middle schools. We encourage you to use our new Zone Locator to view your child’s zoned campus for the coming school year. Find more information on our website:

Destination…Life Transition Fair & Conference this Saturday


The Destination…Life Regional Transition Fair and Conference helps Central Texas families prepare and support their student(s) with disabilities for life beyond high school. Families can expect to gather information and gain access to experts on how to help their student(s) with disabilities ranging from early childhood through high school to successfully transition to adulthood.

When: Saturday, Feb. 24

9 am - 1:30 pm

Annual FFA Spring Pet Vaccination Clinic Feb. 27


Have your pets received their vaccinations this year? Georgetown FFA has an opportunity for you! The Annual Spring Pet Vaccination Clinic that is partnered with Dr. John Tarlton is 
Tuesday, February 27th from 5 - 7pm in the GHS Ag Shop (Room 213). No appointment needed. Please see the flyer below for more information, including vaccination costs, directions, etc. All proceeds benefit FFA programs in GISD.

From the Georgetown Police Department: Register for Chase the Chief by Feb. 26

The Georgetown Police Department is gearing up for the 12th Annual Chase the Chief! The event raises funds to support GISD PE programs.
This year’s event will take place on March 3 at East View High School.
Vendor Fair: 12-2 PM
Fun Run: Starts at 1:15 PM
5k Run: Starts at 2 PM

From the Georgetown Project: Scholarships for GISD Seniors - Apply by Feb. 29

The Georgetown Project will award seven $1,000 scholarships to GISD seniors. Two students from Georgetown High School, two from East View High School, and three from Richarte High School will be selected to receive either the Barbara Baldwin Pearce, Jim Mitchell, or Chip Richarte Scholarship.

From the City of Georgetown: Georgetown residents invited to Water Conservation Expo on Feb. 24 

Save the date & register now for this year’s Water Conservation Expo! Come and go between 9am & 1pm on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Georgetown Public Library.

During this event, community members can discover water-saving tips to make a positive impact toward protecting Georgetown’s precious water resources. Speakers include: Dr. Soe Myint from Texas State University, Kate Hajda from Williamson County Agrilife Extension and Beth Erwin from Native Plant Society.

Connect with experts and collect resources from local vendors and partners in water conservation. Attendees will have a chance to win door prizes, including a rain barrel!
