Georgetown High School Renovations

In 2010, the Georgetown community passed a bond to renovate and expand the existing Georgetown High School campus to accommodate an increase in student enrollment, make the campus more user-friendly and to update the interior spaces of the building.

In 2015, the Georgetown community passed another bond to renovate the remaining interior spaces that did not receive work as part of the 2010 bond. These spaces, consisting of mainly academic classrooms, will also be renovated to give GHS staff and teachers the appropriate, flexible teaching spaces needed to fit Georgetown ISD's vision for modern instructional delivery. The bulk of the work at this campus will be concentrated on updating and modernizing the old Vocational Wing to become a state of the art Career and Technical Education facility.
Renovations to Georgetown High School will begin in February of 2017. To view the renovation timeline and the map of the individual phases, please click here.
