Community Survey: Proposed Projects for a Future Bond Election (Closes Saturday)
There are just two days left to share your input on GISD’s Citizen Advisory Committee survey regarding important facility and program needs that could be addressed in a future bond election. Projects being discussed include new elementary schools to accommodate record growth in Georgetown, a career and technical education center that would house advanced career programs as well as a new Richarte High School and the Bridges program, fund technology devices, and repair and replace items according to the district’s long-term plan among other projects. You can learn more about the Citizens Advisory Committee on our website. The survey will remain open until Saturday, June 5.
Thank you for taking a few minutes of your time to inform the district on important decisions that will affect the quality of our schools and community for the next several decades.

Our annual climate survey asks parents and staff for feedback that will be used to inform planning and decisions at the campus and district level. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to complete this brief survey here. Surveys will remain open through June 18 and are available in English and Spanish.

Reminder: New Student Enrollment & Returning Student Registration
New student enrollment is now available online for students who are new to GISD for the 2021-22 school year. To register, the required documents may be uploaded, or families may schedule an enrollment appointment with a registrar for additional assistance with the enrollment process.
Returning students registration is also now open. Summer is when we hire most of our teachers, so to ensure accurate staffing, classrooms, and resources for our students, we need your help to plan. It only takes a few minutes to complete, so please register your returning student(s) today in Skyward Family Access so that campuses have accurate information and can communicate with you about the upcoming school year.
