Meeting notes

Dr. Brent opened the meeting at 6:04 p.m.with introductions from Dr. Brandon Jayroe, principal at Benold Middle School. 

Following a recap of Meeting #1, reviewing meeting notes and addressing questions from the committee, Dr. Brent led a brief overview of school finance and tax rates in the Georgetown ISD school district. From there, the group divided in half to hear presentations from Templeton Demographics on growth projections in our community as well as a presentation on bond capacity from BOK Financial.

The group reconvened in a general session to review next steps.

The meeting adjourned at 7:57 pm. Dr. Jayroe provided tours of the campus for interested committee members. 

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 8 at Tippit Middle School.
