Meeting notes 

Committee members met in the cafeteria at Georgetown High School to learn more about projects including the CTE Center, options for swim facilities and the possible addition of agriculture barns at existing high schools to better serve students enrolled in ag and FFA programs. 

Committee members met in small groups to discuss projects, provide feedback on each and then shared their feedback with the larger group.

There was a lot of support for adding ag barns to the list of considered projects. 

Dr. Brent closed the evening with an update on bonding capacity and new laws affecting bonds and ballot language.

A statistical survey of registered voters will be conducted in late May - early June to determine the community’s level of interest and support in the proposed projects.  Survey results will be shared with the committee at the next meeting on June 24.
