Fall Semester Exams
Last school year, amidst the continuing COVID pandemic, fall semester exams were replaced with learning recovery options. As we close out the end of our first grading period, constant evaluation of our practices has revealed that an adjustment is again needed. In collaboration with our campus principals and other campus staff, we determined we will continue this path regarding semester exams as our campuses and community continue to navigate the pandemic. What this means for you and your learner is that schools will follow a normal class schedule closing out the semester and if a teacher elects to administer a comprehensive final exam, it will count as a test in the 2nd 9 weeks instead of as a semester final exam. As a parent you can expect more information from your campus and/or your child’s teacher explaining any specific details regarding closing out the semester this fall.
