From River Rock Bible Church: Harvest Festival October 2

Join us for River Rock Bible Church’s First Annual Harvest Festival! This is an opportunity to bring the community of Georgetown together for a fun, family friendly festival.

There will be a variety of different activities, from pumpkin decorating to pumpkin putt-putt, along with some delicious snacks like cotton candy and popcorn! There will also be bounce houses, a dunk tank, and a fall themed photo area.

We hope to see you all there, and please invite all that you know!

From the Georgetown Project: Parent Workshop- The Power of Trust

Join us for The Power of Trust: The Foundation for Strong Families and Friendships brought to you by The Georgetown Project.

Jen Mauldin, certified professional coach, Brene Brown facilitator, and GISD school board trustee will lead a discussion about how to strengthen trust in our families and friendships.

About: One of the foundations of strong relationships is trust. Although we intuitively know when we don't trust someone, conversations around trust can go sideways quickly. Brene Brown, a four-time #1 New York best selling author has developed the acronym B.R.A.V.I.N.G. to break down trust into seven elements.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 5

6:30 PM – 7:45 PM
Where: Bridges to Growth

Participants will be entered to win a door prize.

Pre-register at https://poweroftrust.eventbrite.com.

Email Lexy Largent at lexy@georgetownproject.org with questions.
