GISD Student Learner Profile Survey - Deadline to Opt Out TOMORROW March 31
In an effort to better support our students as they develop their Learner Profile traits, GISD conducts an annual student survey. This brief survey is provided to students in grades 3-11 and asks students to reflect on themselves and their experiences which align to our GISD Learner Profile. Parents/guardians may preview the survey on the GISD Feedback and Assessment site and opt their student(s) out of taking the survey if they choose to do so.
The deadline to opt students out of the survey is tomorrow, March 31 and campuses will begin to administer the survey during the month of April.
New Student Enrollment Open for 2023-2024
Georgetown ISD is now accepting new student enrollment applications online for the 2023-2024 school year for new pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and all other new students. https://www.georgetownisd.org/enrollatgisd
Please share this information with your neighbors or other families who will be new to the district next year. We look forward to welcoming your students to GISD schools!
New student enrollment is only for students who are not currently enrolled in a GISD school in the 2022-2023 school year. To enroll a new student for next year, visit our online enrollment portal to start the enrollment paperwork online. You may upload your required documents as part of the enrollment application or schedule an enrollment appointment on campus with the registrar if you need additional assistance with the enrollment process.
Returning Student Registration Open for 2023-2024
If your student is currently enrolled and will be returning to GISD schools next year, returning student registration is now open in Skyward Family Access. Please take a few minutes to provide updated information for each of the students in your family, including cell phone numbers and emergency contact information so that campuses have accurate information for the upcoming school year.

Student Art Exhibit Now Open through April 5 at Georgetown Public Library
Every year since 2008, the Georgetown Public Library has partnered with the Georgetown Independent School District to offer an annual art exhibit. Last year’s exhibit of student artwork was virtual only, but this year's live exhibit features hundreds of selections of student artwork from the district's 18 campuses.
This exhibit celebrates the creativity of student art and demonstrates the robust art programs in all GISD schools. Students in GISD explore and refine their skills in a wide variety of media and techniques including photography, ceramics, painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture and textiles.
This year’s exhibit opened March 28 and will remain up through April 5.
