Georgetown Fire Department Hosts Video Contest

The Georgetown Fire Department will be teaming up with GISD on an anti-bullying PSA video contest.

Students are asked to create a short public safety announcement video. The students can work on their own or in groups for creating the video. The winners will be formally recognized by the Georgetown Fire Department and the top three entrants will receive a GoPro action camera. The video will also be aired throughout the city at different venues.

Entries will be judged on creativity, educational value and message effectiveness. The winners will be determined by the judges in their sole discretion in accordance with the contest rules.

The deadline for video submission is May 1, 2019 by 5 p.m. No late entries will be considered. All participants must submit an entry form and fill out a GISD Student Media Consent and Release Form.
