The Georgetown ISD Education Foundation hosted the district’s 5th Annual State of the District at Hammerlun Center for Leadership for Learning Friday, Feb. 7.

The unique event invited community members to experience what students are learning in GISD. Every school in GISD was represented through a variety of showcases, including visual art and presentations, musical performances, and more. New this year were Ted Talk-style presentations and Chat Zones, allowing guests to engage with students of all ages and staff from a variety of programs. Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed culinary treats from the East View High School culinary program and Southwest Foodservice Excellence (SFE).
