Second Family Survey Shows Increased Interest in Remote Learning

The district executed a second survey to families and staff July 16 - 20 to solicit feedback on preferences for returning to school on August 20.  Survey results a month earlier favored a return to school, however, as July proceeded and positive COVID-19 numbers increased, community members started to indicate they favored a more conservative approach to re-opening.

On July 20, the district announced a remote start for the 2020-21 school year, with all students starting the year via remote learning. On September 10, the district plans to open campuses for families who elect to enroll their students for in-person learning. Remote learning will continue for those who wish to continue learning at home.
